Ki Health and Wellness  was Founded in 2012 by Kaz Merfield, a Reiki Master and Registered Massage Therapist licensed by CMTO in the province of Ontario. Her mission is to provide personalized, high-quality care on an as-needed or preventative basis in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. By providing her clients with detailed information about their health and wellness concerns, Kaz is able to work  with them to attain their physical goal through the magic of massage therapy.

 

Using her knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and combining her gift of therapeutic touch, each client experiences an incredibly unique and personalized treatment session.

Understanding that healing starts from within, Kaz also teaches  monthly guided meditation classes. Each script is hand written, with a strong focus on emotional clearing and realignment.

 

Most recently, Kaz has obtained a Bachelors degree in Metaphysical Science, certification in Hypnosis and Regression Therapy, and additional schooling in Understanding Human Emotions. Each new certification adding to her tool kit of emotional and mental health therapies. These new additions complete the circle of Mind, Body, and Soul healing.

David has 11 years of experience and graduated from CDI College in 2007.  Combining deep tissue with lighter relaxing techniques, he is able to work through your muscle tension while still providing a relaxing experience.  Along with his Reiki training,  he will intuitively find the areas of tension and work them out.

David excels in the following areas of treatment:

* Deep Tissue Massage

* Joint Play and Mobilization

* Sports Injury Rehabilitation

* Relaxation and Aromatherapy Massage

Leigh-Ann Harvey

Leigh is a 200HR RYT with a focus on Gentle Yoga. She truly believes in the practice of yoga to balance, de stress and reconnect with yourself. She is passionate about yoga being for EVERY body, mind and spirit! Come flow with her in a Candlelight Gentle Yoga session every Thursday evening. Can’t wait to see you on your mat!!

Rachel Allison

Rachel is a 200 hour Yoga Teacher, Reiki Practitioner and oil enthusiast who believes yoga is a form of self-love. Allow her to guide you through a gentle flow or restorative class so you can unwind from the busy world we live in.

 

As Rachel is also a registered psychotherapist her classes may include meditation techniques you can apply on and off the mat. Treat yourself with some much needed me time by attending one of Rachel’s classes today.

Karen Howey

"If you can breathe, you can do Yoga" – Krishnamacharya
Karen was drawn to Yoga over 15 years ago seeking healing after experiencing a life-threatening illness.   She immediately realized the deep connection that yoga nurtures between our physical bodies and the essence of our spiritual and emotional well-being.


Seeking to try many styles of yoga led Karen to practice at retreats in Costa Rica and Bali, completing her 200 Hour Inspired Yoga Teacher Training in 2018. Her goal is to provide students a compassionate and joyful environment to feel their way into gentle postures connecting with the body and breath and to come away with a sense of CALM!

Melanie is a certified yoga instructor with 320 hours of yoga training. She has completed her 200hr teacher training in Toronto, Ontario and have further certification to teach Restorative and Yin Yoga. She also a Roll Model® Method certified practitioner authorized to use the Roll Model® brand methods and products. She is registered with the Yoga Alliance and a Reiki level 2 Practitioner.


Yoga is magical and moving. No matter if you are attending your first yoga class or if you are a seasoned veteran, Melanie's goal is to make yoga accessible to all regardless of age and ability. She is heart warmed to be able to help guide students along the personal growth of their yoga practice and offer healing modalities to assist students in nourishing their inner selves.
